The Plugfy Foundation

An independent non-profit organization: creator, maintainer and steward of the Plugfy language and its ecosystem.

Mission

The Foundation exists so that Plugfy can remain what it set out to be: a free, open source language where business rules are portable, secure and verifiable — owned by its community, not by any single vendor. We fund and coordinate development, hold the project's trademarks and infrastructure, and guarantee that the language's core promises survive any individual contributor or company.

What we maintain

Principles

Open, forever

The language, runtime and standard library are and will remain free and open source. No open-core bait, no license rug-pulls.

Security by default

Capability boundaries are a design invariant: programs declare what they touch, hosts grant least privilege, artifacts are inspectable.

Determinism is a feature

Parallel results equal sequential results, guaranteed by construction and pinned by CI. Behavior you can reason about is behavior you can trust.

Portability without compromise

One artifact, every platform — with native speed where it exists and a portable floor everywhere else.

Small kernel, open ecosystem

A minimal native core; everything else written in Plugfy, in the open, replaceable and auditable.

Community over hierarchy

Open RFCs, public roadmaps, honest status. Decisions are argued in writing, in public.

Governance

Day-to-day development is led by the project maintainers. Direction-setting changes go through the public RFC process. The Foundation's role is stewardship: keeping the infrastructure running, the trademarks protected, and the project independent.
